Ann V. Spehar

Ann Spehar, 99, of New Alexandria, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at her son Frank's residence in Blairsville. She was born Feb. 11, 1911, in Austria-Hungary , a daughter of Frank and Fanika Sebali. She was the owner and operator of the Spehar Personal Care Home in Blairsville. Ann was a member of SS Simon and Jude Catholic Church of Blairsville. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church of Pittsburgh , where she belonged to the St. Nicholas Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Westmoreland County Personal Care Home Association. Ann belonged to the H.J. Heinz Union . Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Spehar Sr., in 1966; and a daughter, Anna Mae in 1944. She is survived by a son, Frank Spehar, of Blairsville. No visitation. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Burial in St. Nicholas Cemetery , Pittsburgh . Arrangements by P.
