Angelo Carsia, 77, of Greenwalt, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born May 6, 1935, in Greenwalt, a son of the late Felix and RoseMarie Yaneralla Carsia. Angelo was a self-employed dairy farmer. Angelo was a member of St. Bartholomew Church of Crabtree. He was an avid gardener and loved to plant his garden and flowers. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Leo, Kenneth and James; and two sisters, Flora Willochell and Lena Tenerowicz. Angelo is survived by his brother, Carmen Carsia, and sisters, Rose Savisky and her husband, Ray, of Greenwalt, and Carm Myers and husband, Charles, of Latrobe; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 4, in St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Father Justin Matro, OSB, as celebrant.
